Clarendon Street Damask
Circa 1815-20. One of several patterns known to have been produced in the Clarendon Street factory of Dublin wallpaper maker Patrick Boylan. A version printed in flock on a rich crimson ground was used in the State Bedroom at Castle Coole, County Fermanagh, where it can still be seen. A medium-scale all-over pattern in which the repeat is skilfully concealed within the exuberant, dancing motifs.
Available as a hand print or digital print. Colourways with metallic gold or silver print are only available as hand prints.
