Carton Damask
Circa 1815-20. Found in Carton, County Kildare, where it was used around 1820 to decorate two bedrooms when the house was remodelled by the architect Richard Morrison. The motifs include paired serpents between unfurling fern-like foliage, and the overall effect is formal, light and elegant. ‘Carton Damask’ was recreated and printed in two colourways for the refurbishment of Carton in 2018.
Available as a hand print or digital print. Colourways with metallic gold or silver print are only available as hand prints.
