Birr Damask
Circa 1900. Adapted from a woven damask used in Birr Castle, County Offaly, and chosen by President Mary Robinson and her husband Nicholas to decorate several rooms in Áras an Uachtaráin, the official residence of Ireland’s presidents, in 1990. A slightly less imposing damask than ‘Mornington’ or ‘Lissadell’, ‘Birr’ creates a more restful, flowing backdrop.
Available as a hand print or digital print. Colourways with metallic gold print are only available as hand prints.
