Strokestown Rosette Stripe
Circa 1830. From Strokestown Park House, County Roscommon, this scintillating pattern of rosettes and stripes is typical of the bold decorative fashions of Regency Britain and Empire France. The original yellow and gold paper with its elaborate flock borders, survives in the Library at Strokestown.
